Although, there are two slow-mo modes and a burst mode, it’s largely the same over-simplified camera app with the familiar options like - photosphere, panorama and lens blur.
Even gimmicky stuff like a hyperlapse mode would’ve sufficed. The lack of additional shooting options makes the stock camera app look like a barren waste land, blighted by a war of no ideas. Sure, the auto-mode is excellent, and I imagine the vast majority of smartphone users don’t agonise over adjusting the ISO- but something would’ve been nice. My only gripe is the lack of manual controls and extra shooting options. Nexus 6 on the left, Nexus 6P on the right.
